Stanley Pierce Plank Jr., 45, of the 4000 block of Sands Road, died Dec. 20, 1994, in Washington County Hospital.
He was a native of Hagerstown and was the son of Stanley P. Plank Sr. of Portsmouth, and Hazel I. Geist Plank of Waynesboro, Pa.
He was a veteran of the Vietnam Era, serving in the U.S. Army. He was a member of Grace United Methodist Church in Hagerstown. He received an Associate Science degree from Tidewater Community College in Virginia. Mr. Plank was employed with Simplex Time Recorder in Lanham, Md.
He is survived by his wife, Sharon W. Plank; one son, Stanley P. Plank III, U.S.A.F. in Yakota, Japan; and a grandson, Tyler Andrew Plank of Yakota, Japan.
Services will be held at 3 p.m. Friday at the Minnich Funeral Home, 415 East Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown, with the Rev. George W. Ennis and the Rev. Darryl C. Zoller presiding. Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery in Hagerstown. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 1 to 3 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to the Grace U.M. Church, Church and Windsor Streets, Hagerstown, Md. 21740.
