Frank W. Sharp, 51, of the 3200 block of Flanders Ave., an assembly line worker, died Dec. 18, 1994, in DePaul Medical Center, Norfolk.
Mr. Sharp was born in Portsmouth. He retired from Ford Motor Company after 18 years and was a member of the Newberry Gospel Singers, Portsmouth.
Survivors include his wife, Rev. Olivia Sharp; a daughter, Tonnia S. Fields of Rocky Mount, N.C.; a son, Justus Sharp of Portsmouth; his father, Bishop Eddie Sharp of Newark, N.J.; a sister, Clara Astor of Brooklyn, N.Y.; three brothers, Eddie Sharp Jr., of Brooklyn, N.Y., Edward Wright of Newark, N.J., and James Wright of Ohio; three grandchildren; and a special friend, Essie Boone of Norfolk.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Paul Holiness Church, Portsmouth, by the Rev. Clarence Cuffee. Burial will be in Lincoln Memorial Cemetery. Viewing will begin at 10 a.m. today at Corprew Funeral Home where family and friends will assemble at 9:15 a.m. Friday for procession to the church. The body will be taken to the church at 10 a.m. Friday.
