ALBERTO LOIERCIO

Alberto Loiercio, 76, of the 7300 block of Galveston Blvd., died Dec. 21, 1994, in a Norfolk Hospital.

He was born in Palmi, Italy, and was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church. Since coming to this country, he was involved in the restaurant business, and was the owner of Mama's Italian Kitchen for the last 40 years.

He is survived by his wife, Giuseppina M. Loiercio; one daughter, Patrizia L. Whittaker of Norfolk; one sister, Angelina Loiercio and her husband, Tony, of Norfolk; one brother, Fred Loiercio and his wife, Mary, of Virginia Beach; two grandchildren, Alberto and Anthony Whittaker, both of Norfolk; one brother-in-law Victtorio Loiercio of Virginia Beach; one sister-in-law, Maria Loiercio of Virginia Beach; and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be conducted at 10 a.m. today in Holy Trinity Catholic Church by the Rev. Lou Ruoff. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery. Smith and Williams Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel, is handling the arrangements.
