SA Wade Hugh Tavorn Jr., USN, 21, of Norfolk, died Dec. 18, 1994.
He was the son of Wade Hugh Tavorn Sr. of California and Vera Memmezzwattay of Los Angeles. Mr. Tavorn was on active duty in the U.S. Navy and was stationed in Norfolk when he died.
Besides his parents, Mr. Tavorn is survived by his stepmother, Shirley Tavorn of California; a sister, Kelly Tavorn; three brothers, Xavier Tavorn and Julius English of California and Gerald Logan of Norfolk; and his fiancee, Cherront'e L. Hawkins of Virginia Beach.
Friends may join his fiancee and her family for a visitation at Twiford Funeral Home, Ghent Chapel, Norfolk, this evening from 7 to 8:30 p.m. His body will be sent to California after the visitation for burial.
