McCrory adds third local store to its closing list: McCrory Corp. will close a third store in Hampton Roads as it tries to emerge from bankruptcy. The five-and-dime chain initially said it would close two stores in Norfolk: one on the 7600 block of Granby Street and the other on the 2300 block of Little Creek Road. The Pennsylvania-based company this week said it also will close its Virginia Beach store in the Bayside shopping center. The company now has about half of the 1,030 stores it had when it began restructuring in 1992. (Staff) by CNB
