Clora Dunlow Newbern, 82, of Route 1, a homemaker, died Dec. 22, 1994, in Guardian Care Nursing Home.
Mrs. Newbern was born in Bertie County, N.C. She was the widow of Lonnie Ray Newbern and was a member of Askewville Baptist Church, Askewville, N.C.
Survivors include a daughter, Janet Lynch of Ahoskie; a son, John M. Hora of Eure, N.C.; three sisters, Iva Lawrence, Violet Rae Mizelle and Hallie D. Smith, all of Windsor, N.C.; and four grandchildren.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday in Garrett Funeral Home by the Rev. Robert May. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Gardens. Memorial donations may be made to the Ahoskie Rescue Squad.
