Freda Simpson Dozier, 85, a homemaker, died Dec. 22, 1994, in Virginia Beach General Hospital.
Mrs. Dozier was born in Knotts Island, N.C. She was the widow of Renon O. Dozier.
Survivors include two daughters, Lina Marie Ward and Diane E. Clark, both of Virginia Beach; three sons, Melvin R. Dozier of Wilmington, Del., Edward O. Dozier of Fort Worth, Texas and Gene R. Dozier of Virginia Beach; 12 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Kellum Funeral Home, Bonney Road Chapel, by the Rev. Lowe Norman. Burial will be in Rosewood Memorial Park. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday evening.
