ELIZA G. BLOOMER

Eliza Goodspeed Bloomer, 95, of the 100 block of A View Ave., died Dec. 22, 1994, in Virginia Beach.

Mrs. Bloomer was born in Chatham, Mass. She was the widow of Lt. Arthur Ellenwood Bloomer Sr., USN (Ret.) and was a member of Ocean View Presbyterian Church. She was daughter of the late Prince Harding and Relief Ellis Goodspeed.

Survivors include a daughter, Lucille B. Hamrick of Virginia Beach; a son, Arthur Ellenwood Bloomer Jr. and his wife, Margy Eudy Bloomer of Virginia Beach; a sister, Helen Goodspeed of East Orleans, Mass.; a brother, Percy Goodspeed and his wife, Millie Goodspeed of East Orleans, Mass.; five grandchildren, Linda Karen Bloomer Klante of Virginia Beach, Sheryl Decker of Minneapolis, Minn., Julia Sheridan and Sandra Finlin, both of Norfolk and Gary Hamrick of Virginia Beach; and 11 great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be conducted at 9 a.m. Monday in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, by Dr. James E. Carriker. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery. Family will receive friends at the cemetery following the service. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
