Louise Bush Bailey, 90, of 9136 Eclipse Drive, died December 24, 1994, in Obici Hospital.
A native of Eclipse, she was the daughter of the late John Brown Bush and Lulie Fields Bush and the widow of Ernest Grant Bailey Sr.
Mrs. Bailey was a member of Ebenezer United Methodist Church, Virginia State Retired Teachers Association and had taught for twenty-eight years in Southampton and Isle of Wight counties.
Survivors include three daughters, Adrienne B. Corron and Gale B. Harvell of Suffolk, and Ann Elizabeth Barton of Chesapeake; one son, Ernest Grant Bailey Jr., of Portsmouth; one sister, Violet B. Balderson of Waynesboro; two brothers, Bernice Allen Bush of Suffolk, Clifford Clemmonts Bush of Chesapeake and 13 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be conducted Wednesday at 11 a.m. in Ebenezer United Methodist Church by the Rev. Carl Lemon. Burial will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Baker Foster Funeral Home, Bennett's Creek Chapel, on Tuesday from 7 to 8 p.m. and at other times at 1537 White Dogwood Trail.
