Jackie Eugene Edwards, 67, of the 2700 block of George Drive, a retired petty officer 1C, died Dec. 24, 1994 in a Portsmouth hospital.
He was a native of Ardmore, Okla., and retired from the Navy, a veteran of World War II and Korea. He was the widower of Marion Coulter Edwards and was a Baptist.
Survivors include a daughter, Janice E. Evans of Portsmouth; a son, William L. Edwards of Chesapeake; a brother, Donald R. Edwards of San Diego, Calif.; and seven grandchildren.
A funeral will be conducted at 3 p.m. Monday at Loving Funeral Home, Churchland, by the Rev. William Kube. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
