Carlton A. ``Joe Joe'' Butts, 62, of the 300 block of Poplar Ave., died Dec. 20, 1994, in Norfolk General Hospital.
Mr. Butts was born in Chesapeake. He was a janitorial worker for Khedive Temple for more than 10 years, was a Baptist, and the son of the late Fannie Louise Butts and Lewis Alexander Butts.
Survivors include three sons, Lewis A. Harris, Michael S. Harris and Tom F. Harris, all of Norfolk; two sisters, Mildred Flora and Vivian Delorise Lee of Chesapeake; a brother, James Larry Butts of Chesapeake; six grandkids; and loving companion of 17 years, Mary E. Riddick.
A graveside service will be conducted at noon Tuesday in Magnolia Cemetery by the Rev. Charlie Peete. Metropolitan Funeral Service is handling arrangements.
