GLORIA H. MORGAN

Gloria Horton Morgan, 68, of the 300 block of Northbrooke Ave., a retired clerk, died Dec. 24, 1994, in a nursing home.

Mrs. Morgan was born in Suffolk. She was a former circuit court clerk for the city of Suffolk; a member of First Baptist Church, Suffolk; member of Sinai Chapter (NU)18 Order of the Eastern Star; and past member of the Pilot Club, Suffolk Women's Club.

She is survived by her husband, Fred O. Morgan; her daughter, Lynne M. Harris of Raleigh, N.C.; two sons, James Frederick Morgan of Anchorage, Alaska, and Benjamin A. Morgan of Blacksburg; and grandchildren, Greg Harris of Raleigh, N.C., and Karyn Guelcher of Weirdon, W.Va. She was predeceased by her mother and father, Doris Williams Horton and James Samuel Horton.

A graveside service will be conducted Tuesday at 11 a.m. by the Rev. Charles W. Thompson in Holly Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Hill Funeral Home Monday from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. and at other times at the residence.
