PHILLIP M. PARK

Dr. Phillip Marlin Park, M.D., of the 2900 block of Prince of Wales Drive, doctor of obstetrics and gynecology, died Dec. 23, 1994, in Portsmouth.

Dr. Park was born in Hammond, Ind. He was a member of Green Acres Presbyterian Church and the Portsmouth Academy of Medicine. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of Vietnam with 10 years of service. He was a graduate of West Virginia University.

Survivors include his wife, Janie L. Park; a daughter, Maria C. Park of Chesapeake; his parents, Nora S. Park and Karl L. Park Sr. of Petersburg, W.Va.; and a brother, Karl L. Park Jr. of Chesapeake.

The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Green Acres Presbyterian Church by Dr. Walter C. Hunting. Burial will be in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens. The family will be at Snellings Funeral Home, Churchland Chapel, today from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
