Gladys Pierce Boyd, 88, of the 100 block of E. Tyler Crescent, died Sunday, Dec. 25, 1994, in Portsmouth.
Mrs. Boyd, a native of Plymouth, N.C., was the widow of Fenner Howard Boyd and was a member of Broad Street United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her daughter, Shirley B. Coady of Portsmouth; three grandchildren and spouses, Sharon R. and Raymond Dail, Allison R. and Clyde Broda, both of Portsmouth and Glenn H. and Becky Russell of Windsor; and five great-grandchildren, Jason Dail, Heather Casto, Russell Broda, Justin and Jeremy Russell.
A graveside funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 28, 1994, by the Rev. William Kube in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Foster Funeral Home today from 7 to 8 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to Broad Street United Methodist Church, 300 Broad St., Portsmouth, Va. 23707.
