Arlene DeShields, 86, of the 4400 block of Deacon Lane, a homemaker, died Dec. 25, 1994, in Bayside Health Care Center.
Mrs. DeShields was born in Four Oaks, N.C., and was a member of Talbot Park Baptist Church, Norfolk.
Survivors include her husband, L. Broughton DeShields; and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Olive Branch Cemetery, Portsmouth, by Dr. Tim Dixon. The family will be at Kellum Funeral Home, Bonney Road Chapel, at 7 p.m. today to receive friends. Contributions may be made to Talbot Park Baptist Church, 6919 Granby St., Norfolk, Va. 23505.
