EDWARD D. EACHUS

Edward D. Eachus, 75, of the 4100 block of Taylor Road, died Dec. 20, 1994, in Dominion Village of Chesapeake.

Mr. Eachus was born in Chester County, Pa. He had retired from General Electric as a senior engineer of electronics after 38 years. He had also retired from the U.S. Naval Reserve as a commander after 23 years. He was a member of Green Acres Presbyterian Church, Portsmouth and was a U.S. Naval Reserve veteran of WWII. He was a graduate of Drexel University as an electrical engineer. He was predeceased by his parents, Ruth Walton Eachus and Ross Eachus.

Survivors include his wife, Barbara N. Eachus of Chesapeake; a son, Dr. Spencer W. Eachus of Allentown, N.J.; a sister, Elizabeth Harris of Gibbsboro, N.J.; a stepsister, Dorothy Gottier of Downingtown, Pa.; one aunt, Emily Walton of Downingtown, Pa. and several cousins, nieces and nephews.

A memorial visitation will be held at Snellings Funeral Home, Churchland Chapel, Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, Hampton Roads Chapter, 20 Koger Center, Norfolk, Va.
