Adgie A. Riddick, 78, of the 1000 block of Goff St., a retired domestic worker, died Dec. 23, 1994, in a local hospital.
She was born in Princess Anne County and was the widow of Harry Riddick. She was a member of Union Kempsville Baptist Church, Virginia Beach.
Survivors include three sons, Arthur M. White and Thomas L. White, both of Norfolk, and Sweppie White of Virginia Beach; two sisters, Julia Owens and Dorothy White, both of Virginia Beach; 14 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; a special niece, Anne Bratchett of Virginia Beach; two daughters-in-law; and a host of nieces and nephews.
A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Pretlow & Sons Funeral Home, Chesapeake, by the Rev. Kim Brown. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park, Chesapeake. The family will receive guests at the funeral home between 6 to 7 p.m. today.
