David L. Currie, 78, of the 6400 block of Duquesne Plaza, who served his Lord Jesus faithfully for 36 years in Mexico, went to be with his Lord on Dec. 26, 1994.
Mr. Currie was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and was a retired missionary.
Survivors include his wife, Rosina ``Iannelli'' Currie; two daughters, Rhoda Jeter of Virginia Beach and Deborah Olson of Chicago; a son, David W. Currie of Kingston, N.H.; a brother, Robert Currie of Santiago, Chile; and 10 grandchildren.
A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. today in Landstown Community Church by Pastor David Reicke. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the church prior to the service today. Altmeyer Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
