Eugene Longworth Scott Jr., 62, of the 3000 block of Crystal Lake Drive, died Monday, Dec. 26, 1994.
He was a native of Port Tobacco, Md., and a retired accountant for the City of Chesapeake. He was a member of the Pasquotank County Yacht Club. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. Mr. Scott was the son of the late Etta Wenk Scott and Eugene L. Scott of Welcome, Md., and the husband of Helen Hodges Scott of the home.
Besides his wife and father, Mr. Scott is survived by three daughters, Teresa Hutson of Gates, N.C., Virginia Hogan of Suffolk and Carolyn Scott of Chesapeake; one son, Thomas Scott of Portsmouth; one sister, Elsie Wilson of Hertford; and nine grandchildren.
A funeral will be conducted at Arehart-Echols Funeral Home in La Plata, Md., on Friday at 1:30 p.m. Burial will follow in Trinity Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Waldorf, Md. Twiford's Northside Chapel, 1115 N. Road St., is in charge of local arrangements.
