Martha Louise Adams, 59, a housewife, died Dec. 27, 1994, in her home.
Mrs. Adams was born Jan. 28, 1935 in St. Petersburg, Fla., and was the daughter of the late Mildred Elizabeth Birt and Orlando Johnson. She was a member of Calvary Assembly of God Church and taught Sunday school for 20 years. She was a member of the Women's Ministry.
She is survived by her husband, Howard Alexander Adams of Columbus; three sons, Stanley Adams of Missouri, Lester K. Adams of Columbus, Howard A. Adams of Columbus; two daughters, Louise Beegle of Box Springs, Ga., Kathy Faircloth of Columbus; one brother, Claude D. Johnson of Columbus; two sisters, Betty Deavers Harrell of Norfolk, Mary Frances Jacobs of Clearwater, Fla.; and 14 grandchildren.
The family will receive friends today from 5 to 7 p.m. at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, Macon Road, Columbus. A funeral service will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. in Striffler-Hamby Mortuary. Burial will be in Parkhill Cemetery.
