DAVID L. RESH

David Lewis Resh, 72, of the 200 block of Newtown Road, a retired senior vice president of Taylor Freezer Sales in Chesapeake, died Dec. 27, 1994, in his residence.

Mr. Resh was born in Washington, D.C. He was a Navy veteran of World WaR II and Korea. He attended George Washington University after World War II until he was recalled into the Navy to participate in the Korean War. He worked over 25 years with Taylor Freezer Sales, where he retired in 1989 as the senior vice president. Mr. Resh was a vice president and served on the founding board of directors for Temple Israel in Norfolk. He was very instrumental on the building committee that developed the main sanctuary and was once voted Man of the Year.

He is survived by his wife, Janet A. Resh; a daughter, Lorie E. Resh of Virginia Beach; three sons, Michael H. Resh of Palm Beach, Fla., Alan S. Resh and Robert J. Resh, both of Virginia Beach; a sister, Lucille Axelson of Las Cruces, N.M.; five grandchildren, Robert A. Resh, Timothy Mark Resh, Joshua Michael Resh, Jaime Anna Resh, Alexandra Carter Resh; and a great-grandddaughter, Kendall Lauren Resh.

A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. today in Forest Lawn Cemetery by Rabbi Richard Smith. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation. H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Laskin Road Chapel, is handling arrangements.
