SUFFOLK CRIME LINE

The crimes listed here were reported to the Suffolk Police Department. Because they are initial reports, they are allegations only and may or may not have resulted in criminal charges.

DISTRICT A

Armed robbery: 4600 block Brookwood Court, Dec. 15, while delivering an ordered pizza, the delivery driver was accosted on the street, beaten and robbed of approximately $30 cash.

Armed robbery: 4600 block Brookwood Court, Dec. 16, while delivering a pizza, driver was met at the door of residence by a juvenile who called to him to bring the pizzas. When driver started toward the house, he was pushed from behind, struck behind the head, and robbed of $20 cash.

Breaking and entering: 5100 block N. Harbor Road, Dec. 18, upon returning home, homeowner found garage and patio door pried open.

Petty larceny: 3400 block Bob White Lane, Dec. 19, Virginia state tag removed from vehicle.

Grand larceny: 4900 block Town Point Road, Dec. 20, door pried open to model home and a compact disk player and portable radio were removed.

DISTRICT C

Breaking and entering: 2400 block Pruden Blvd., Dec. 16, unknown person or persons attempted to gain entrance to business by pushing in a front southside screen and partially opening the window.

Petty larceny: 1200 block Holland Road, Dec. 21, license plate removed from vehicle, possibly while parked at Holland Plaza.

Grand larceny: 300 block N. Main Street, Dec. 20, gold wedding ring taken from car while it was being cleaned.

DISTRICT D

Motor vehicle theft: 300 block Roland Street, Dec. 15, vehicle removed from parking place in front of residence.

Forgery: 100 block E. Washington Street, Dec. 15, a person wrote and cashed stolen checks.

Unauthorized use of motor vehicle: 1200 block Portsmouth Blvd., Dec. 15, an employee left work with company vehicle and did not return or notify firm.

Lost/stolen plate: 200 block Pinner Street, Dec. 15, state license plate and holder was removed from vehicle.

Breaking and entering: 100 block Nancy Drive, Dec. 16, unknown person or persons entered apartment and removed Panosonic VCR, hand-held CB radio and three firearms, a 12-gauge Remington automatic, a 12-gauge single barrel shotgun, and a 20-gauge Remington automatic.

Breaking and entering: 800 block E. Washington, Dec. 16, door was pried open and a Sanyo CD cassette radio and Sharp TV was removed. TV was returned and placed behind the business.

Armed robbery: 600 block Factory Street, Dec. 16, a man was approached by a woman. After refusing her offer of sex for money, she kicked him and took his cash.

Petty larceny: 400 block Nancy Drive, Dec. 18, Virginia State license plate removed from vehicle.

Unauthoried use of motor vehicle: 1400 block E. Washington Street, Dec. 18, a loaned car was not returned on time and was later found abandoned and in a ditch.

Petty larceny: 500 block Riddick Circle, Dec. 19, Virginia State inspection sticker removed from vehicle.

Petty larceny: 600 block Columbus Avenue, Dec. 19, Virginia State inspection sticker and Suffolk City decal removed from vehicle.

Petty larceny: 1500 block Freeney Avenue, Dec. 19, Virginia State inspection sticker removed from three city vehicles.

Petty larceny: 100 block S. 5th Street, Dec. 20, Virginia State inspection sticker removed from vehicle.

Breaking and entering: 100 block N. Capitol Street, Dec. 20, woman returned to residence to find north side window broken out and Panosonic color TV had been removed.

DISTRICT E

Breaking and entering: 2100 block Holland Road, Dec. 19, unknown person or persons kicked in front door, entered garage and removed several items of value.

Breaking and entering: 4200 block Holland Road, Dec. 20, unknown person or persons forced open door of business and removed $170 in quarters.

Breaking and entering: 3300 block Deer Path Road, Dec. 20, unknown person or persons entered garage and removed two 12'' woofers from speaker box.

DISTRICT F

Hit and Run: 200 block Turlington Road, Dec. 17, unknown driver knocked down mail box and paper box. by CNB
