U. EARL TAYLOR

U. Earl Taylor, 62, of the 3800 block of Concord Bridge Road, a retired typewriter technician and founding member of Electronic Systems Inc., died Dec. 27, 1994, in a local hospital.

Mr. Taylor was a native of Knoxville, Tenn., and was a member of Masonic Lodge Bayside Chapter, Khedive Temple, and the Shriners. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.

He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Kathryn Taylor; a daughter, Mary Russel and her husband, Jim, of Virginia Beach, Va.; a son, Robert E. Taylor and his wife, Cheri, of Knoxville, Tenn.; a brother, Frank Taylor of Knoxville, Tenn.; four grandchildren, Jason, Kelly, and Kyle Taylor of Knoxville ,Tenn., Jeremy Benfatto of Virginia Beach; a mother-in-law, Carolyn Mull of Ashville, N.C.; and several aunts and uncles from Ashville, N.C., Knoxville, Tenn., and Georgia.

A chapel service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday in H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Laskin Road Chapel, by the Rev. David E. Schill. Burial will be at Eastern Shore Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 to 8 p.m. today. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of donor's choice.
