Violet H. Rogerson, of Rt. 5, died Dec. 27, 1994, in the Tender Care Nursing Home in Kalamazoo, Mich.
She was the daughter of the late Norvell E. Hollowell Sr. and Mrs. Carrie Privott Hollowell and the wife of the late Joseph Elmer Rogerson. Mrs. Rogerson was a homemaker and a member of Rocky Hock Baptist Church.
She is survived by her two daughters, Anne R. (Mrs. Joe T.) White of Hertford, N.C., and Mrs. Ruth R. Josten of Kalamazoo, Mich; and one brother, Norvell E. Hollowell Jr, of Edenton; eight grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday in Williford-Barham Funeral Home in Edenton by the Rev. Keith Vaughn. Burial will follow in the Beaver Hill Cemetery. The family will be at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. Joe T. White, Rt. 5, Box 8, Hertford, N.C.
