STEPHEN J. PAPUCHIS

Stephen J. Papuchis, 67, of the 4600 block of Blackwatch Ct., died Dec. 27, 1994.

He was a native of Peabody, Mass., and was a retired Port Agent from the Seafarer's International Union. He was Greek Orthodox and a Navy Veteran of Korea.

He is survived by two daughters, Stella Fergon of Virginia Beach and Betty Thurman of Hollywood, Fla.; three sons, George Benjamin Papuchis, John Papuchis and Louis Anderson all of Virginia Beach; his mother, Stella Papuchis of Silver Springs, Md.; one sister, Jenny Rhodes of Boca Raton, Fla.; two brothers, Charles Papuchis and George Papuchis, both of Silver Springs, Md; and 11 grandchildren.

The funeral will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday in St. Nichols Greek Orthodox Church by Fr. George Paulson and Fr. Kosmos Karavellas. Burial will be in Rosewood Memorial Park. A Trisagion service will be held at Holloman-Brown Funeral Home Friday at 7 p.m. where the family will remain to receive friends following the service.
