WOUNDINGS, ASSAULTS

100 block of Wallace Circle - 33-year-old man said a 32-year-old woman he knew threatened to pour boiling water on him because she said he was cheating on her. Victim said suspect chased him into a bathroom and threw water at him as he was closing the door about noon Dec. 19. Police report no damage to leg. Victim said suspect then threw cologne on the floor under door and set it afire. Victim put out fire with washcloth. Suspect also tied bathroom door shut with bathrobe belt, said victim, who pulled door free, escaped and called police. Suspect charged with abduction and kidnapping.

500 block of Broad St. - 21-year-old man said he had stabbed his 29-year-old friend in the back about 5 p.m. Dec. 19. Victim treated at a hospital. Suspect charged with malicious wounding.

3700 block of Willett Drive - 14-year-old at Hunt Mapp Middle School said knocked to the ground, kicked and punched, by three juveniles who went through his pockets about noon Dec. 20. Victim taken to Maryview Medical Center with knot over right eye, chipped tooth and bloody nose. Two 14-year-olds and one 16-year-old placed in custody.

1600 block of Queen St. - 33-year-old man struck by a vehicle he had flagged down about 10:30 a.m. Dec. 21, mistaking the driver for someone he knew. Victim treated at Portsmouth General Hospital.

700 block of Crawford Parkway - 35-year-old man charged with cocaine possession about midnight Dec. 13.

1100 block of London Blvd. - 36-year-old man charged with cocaine possession and petty larceny after being caught shoplifting from a grocery store about 8:30 p.m. Dec. 20.

1000 block of Ann St. - Eleven rocks of cocaine recovered from ground where crowd had been standing about midnight Dec. 22.

200 block of Armstrong St. - Rock thrown through corner window about 6 p.m. Dec. 21. Youth seen in area is suspected.

3300 block of Turnpike Road - 17-year-old man using pay phone at convenience store struck in leg with bullet about 11:30 p.m. Dec. 19.

2300 block of King St. - Restaurant cashier said he was robbed at gunpoint about 7 p.m. Dec. 21.
