Ruth K. Rightmeyer, 90, a secretary and homemaker, died Dec. 28, 1994, in Virginia Beach.
Mrs. Rightmeyer was born in Reading, Pa., and was a Lutheran. She was the widow of Cmdr. Harry H. Rightmeyer, USN (Ret.).
Survivors include a daughter, Marcia A. Rightmeyer of Virginia Beach; three sons, H. Peter Rightmeyer and Richard D. Rightmeyer, both of Norfolk, and James E. Rightmeyer of Virginia Beach; a sister, Billie Fidler of Sinking Springs, Pa; five grandchildren, Tobie A. Larson, Julie R. Nelson and Travis H. Rightmeyer, all of Chesapeake; Christy N. Midgette of Virginia Beach and Wendi D. Meadows of Tucson, Ariz., a niece, Mary June Yackera of Wernersville, Pa.; and four great-grandchildren, Amanda, George Jr., Joie and Matthew.
A memorial serivce will be private. Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Lynnhaven Chapel, is handling arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Chesapeake Bay Chapter of the Blind and Visually Impaired Limited, 4520 Holland Office Park, Suite 417, Virginia Beach, Va. 23452.
