Iola McIntire Jones, 80, of the 700 block of Downing Lane, died Dec. 28, 1994, in Virginia Beach.
Mrs. Jones was born in Mount Hope, W.Va., and was the widow of Dr. Emory Jones Jr. She was retired from the Mount Hope, W.Va., Library. She was a member of Kings Grant Presbyterian Church and a graduate of Farmville State Teachers College.
Survivors include a daughter, Judith Jones Bozarth of Virginia Beach; a son, Emory E. Jones of Charlottesville, Va; a sister, Patricia Nelson of Circleville, Ohio; and five grandchildren, Downs Bozarth, Jennifer Bozarth and Randy Bozarth, Thom Jones and Ben Jones; and a great-grandchild, Brandon Bozarth.
A memorial service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday in Kings Grant Presbyterian Church by Dr. Brian Dill. A private burial will take place in West Virginia at a later date. The family will be at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Lynnhaven Chapel, from 7 to 8 p.m. today. The family suggests memorial contributions to the Memorial Fund of Kings Grant Presbyterian Church.
