George B. ``Sunny'' Harper Jr., 73, of the 1000 block of Collection Creek Way, a radar engineer, died Dec. 29, 1994, in Virginia Beach.
Mr. Harper was born in Norfolk. He was employed with the Federal Aviation Administration. He was a veteran of World War II, having served in the U.S. Navy.
Survivors include his wife of more than 53 years, Alberta F. Harper; a daughter, Melinda Lee Harper Nagurney of Virginia Beach; a son, Raymond Burton Harper of Hertford, N.C.; and two grandchildren.
A private service will be held. Altmeyer Funeral Home is handling arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 2730 Ellsmere Ave., Norfolk, Va. 23513.
