Lucille Riley France, 92, of the 2400 block of E. Virginia Beach Blvd., a homemaker, died Dec. 28, 1994, in a hospital.
Mrs. France was born in Norfolk. She was the widow of Theodore France and was a member of Mount Lebanon Baptist Church. She was a member of Pioneer's Club, Widows Club and Douglas Park Neighborhood Social Club. She was predeceased by her parents, Mary Frances Riley and John Riley.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Clarice Jackson; a sister, Helen Smith; granddaughters, Mrs. Jean Miles, Sandra Aull and Frances Wallace; a grandson, Douglas G. Jackson; 13 great-grandchildren; 23 great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
The funeral will be conducted at noon Tuesday in Mount Lebanon Baptist Church by the Rev. Ronnie Joyner. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park. Wake services will be held on Monday night from 7 to 8 p.m. The body will be placed in the church Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. Hale Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
