Gretchen M. Lauri of Norfolk, died Friday, Dec. 30, 1994, in a Norfolk hospital.
Born in Chicago, Ill., April 18, 1918, however resided in New York and Virginia. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Lauri; her daughter, Elizabeth Riggins and her son, William Lauri Jr.
She was the beloved mother of the following surviving daughters, Vivian Jerrick of Staten Island, N.Y., Dorothy Kimmel of Poconos, Pa., Greta Wiltz of Virginia Beach, Marie Laurie of Kinderhook, N.Y. and Linda Kosier of Yorktown, Va. Mrs. Lauri also has 13 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
A private family remembrance will be handled by Kellum Funeral Home at Pleasant Hall, Kempsville Chapel. In lieu of floral arrangements, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
