Vera Haynes Mann, 82, of the 2000 block of Steinem Court, died Dec. 28, 1994, in Norfolk.
Mrs. Mann was born in Norfolk. She had retired from U.S. Public Health Service Hospital. She was the widow of Willie J. Mann and was a member of New Mount Zion Church of God Holiness, Philpotts Road, Norfolk. She was a member of the Senior Choir.
Survivors include a son, Charles B. Haynes Jr. of Virginia Beach; two sisters, Ida M. Turner and Helen Jackson, both of Norfolk; five brothers, Theodore Billups, Reginald Billups, John Billups, Edward Billups and Charlie Billups, all of Norfolk; grandchildren, Karen E. Robinson of Virginia Beach and Gayle Williams of San Diego, Calif.; and a great-granddaughter, Shanda C. Robinson.
The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday in New Mount Zion Church of God Holiness, Norfolk, by Elder J.D. Burrus. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Gardens. Hale Funeral Home is handling arrangements. The body will be available for viewing at 11 a.m. at the church on the day of the funeral.
