Roberta Douglas Nowell, of the 17000 block of Southampton Parkway, a homemaker, died Friday, Dec. 30, 1994, in Southampton Memorial Hospital.
Mrs. Nowell was born in Southampton County, Va. She was a member of Rising Star Baptist Church, Branchville, and the Sun Light Lodge 438, Order of Good Samaritans.
Survivors include a sister, Flora D. Turner of Capron; a brother, Rubin Douglas of Jamaica, N.Y.; and nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday in Rising Star Baptist Church by the Rev. Michael A. Turner. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Remains will be taken from Wm. M. Johnson & Sons Funeral Home Inc. to the church at 10 a.m.
