Horace Christopher Laird, a retired U.S. Navy commander, died Friday, Dec. 16, 1994, in the U.S. Hospital in Landstuhl, Germany.
Mr. Laird was a 1935 graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy.
He was the husband of Liselotte Laird of Wiesbaden and the adoptive father of Cynthia Parker Laird; brother of Robert Emery Laird of Norfolk, Charles S. Laird of Cobb's Creek, Va. and Lucy L. Walton of Belvedere, Calif.
Friends may call at the Arlington Funeral Home, 3901 N. Fairfax Drive, Arlington, Va., Wednesday, Jan. 4, 1995 from 9 a.m. to noon. Funeral services will be held at Fort Myer Post Chapel, Wednesday at 1 p.m. Interment Arlington National Cemetery with full honors. Memorial contributions may be made to the U.S. Naval Academy Alumni Association, Annapolis, Md. 21402.
