On Dec. 30, 1994, at Bedford County Memorial Hospital, Benjamin B. Powell Jr., a native of Portsmouth, Va., died.
He was the husband of the late Alice Powell and the father of William E. Powell of Vienna, Va. and Benjamin B. Powell III of Virginia Beach. He is also survived by two grandchildren.
He was a retired U.S. Customs inspector and he served in the Navy during World War II.
Funeral services will be on Wednesday, Jan. 4, 1995, at 2 p.m. at Green Funeral Home, Herndon. Interment will be in Chestnut Grove Cemetery, Herndon.
