Lola Burge Cochran, 81, died Dec. 31, 1994, in a local hospital.
Mrs. Cochran was born in Burkes Garden, Va. She was a member of Thalia Lynn Baptist Church and its Senior Women.
Survivors include a son, Norman R. Christian of Virginia Beach; three sisters, Edith Rankin of Martinsville, Va., Mary Carey of Concord, Calif. and Janice Burge of Mill Valley, Calif.; a brother, Russell Burge of Welch, W.Va.; and two grandchildren, Alan Christian of Virginia Beach and Mark Christian of Milton, Fla.
The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Bayside Chapel. Burial will be in Rosewood Memorial Park. Family will be at the funeral home today from 7 to 8:30 p.m.
