HONORS, AWARDS

The Virginia Society for Healthcare Marketing and Public Relations presented Donald S. Buckley with the 1994 Stuart D. Ogren Award at the Virginia Hospital Association's annual meeting. The award recognizes a chief executive officer who has consistently supported health care marketing and public relations initiatives. Buckley is president of Chesapeake General Hospital.

The Tidewater Minority Purchasing Council honored Nathaniel Tate with its distinguished achievement award. Tate owns Southeast Audio/Video and Digital Transfer Labs in Chesapeake.

CONTRACTS

Hathaway-Duke Construction Co. in Virginia Beach received a $3.2 million contract from the Virginia Beach School Board for additions and renovations to the Bettie F. Williams and John B. Dey elementary schools.

RELOCATIONS

The U.S. Small Business Administration's volunteer Service Corps of Retired Executives (SCORE) has relocated its office from Lynnhaven Parkway to 1 Columbus Center, Suite 330 in Virginia Beach.
