Mary Belle P. Seelinger, 89, died Jan. 1, 1995, in a Chesapeake convalescent center.
Mrs. Seelinger was born in Weeksville, N.C. She was the widow of Herman G. Philips and Sherman E. Seelinger Sr. She was a member of St. Bride's Episcopal Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Marie P. Jacobsen of Lynchburg, Va.; two sons, Herman G. Philips Jr. of Kirkwood, Mo. and Herbert A. Philips of Chesapeake; a brother, Roy Lowry of Raleigh, N.C.; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
The graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Riverside Memorial Park by the Rev. Fr. Hugh White. The family will receive friends at 204 Northview Drive, Chesapeake, following the service. Cox Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel, is handling arrangements.
