Margaret O. Jones died Friday, Dec. 30, 1994, in her residence.
She was a native of Woodland, N.C., and was a Peninsula resident for 40 years. She was the widow of Raymond S. Jones, former magistrate for the City of Newport News. Mrs. Jones was a member of North Riverside Baptist Church and the Ruth Bible Class.
Survivors include two daughters, Shirley Wilson of Newport News and Deborah Hipple of Seaford; two sisters, Gladys Wilkins and Doris Thompson; and four grandchildren, Laurie Wilson, Leslie Doss, Tommy Hipple IV and Bobby Hipple.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. today in Peninsula Funeral Home by Dr. John Carpenter. Burial will be in Peninsula Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 4 to 5:30 p.m. Monday in the funeral home. Memorials may be made to North Riverside Baptist Church Building Fund or your favorite charity.
