Ruby Mizelle Predovich, 87, of the 1200 block of W. Williams Circle, died at her residence Sunday.
She was a native of Windsor, N.C., and was the former co-owner and operator of the Virginia Dare Garage. Mrs. Predovich was the daughter of the late George David and Mary Elizabeth Cowan Mizelle and the widow of the late Emil Jospeh Predovich. She was a member of First Baptist Church.
She is survived by one daughter, Dianne Owens Aydlett of Elizabeth City; one son, H.O. Owens Jr. of Memphis, Tenn.; one sister, Cleo Baroody of Mount Sidney, Va.; two brothers, Dave C. Mizelle of Southern Shores and Ned Mizelle of High Point; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday in New Hollywood Cemetery. The family will be at her residence, 1211 W. Williams Circle, Elizabeth City. Twiford's Memorial Chapel, Church Street, is in charge of arrangements.
