Sarah Whitley Hill, 72, of the 400 block of Woodridge Drive, a retired mathematician, died Jan. 2, 1995, in her residence.
Mrs. Hill was born in Hertford County, N.C., and was a member of Murfreesboro United Methodist Church. She was retired from NASA at Langley Air Force Base.
Survivors include her husband, Thomas W. Hill Sr.; a daughter, Alice Hill Williams of Chesapeake; a son, Thomas W. Hill Jr. of Little River, S.C.; a brother, Harry Walton Whitley of Murfreesboro; and grandchildren, Thomas W. Hill III, Sarah Jane Hill and Carrie Bird Williams.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Riverside Cemetery, Murfreesboro, by the Rev. Charles Hutchinson. The family will receive friends at the home. Memorial donations may be made to Murfreesboro United Methodist Chruch. Garrett Funeral Home, Murfreesboro, is in charge.
