VIVIAN A. JOHNSON

Vivian A. Johnson of the 4500 block of Pinta Lane, an evangelist and missionary, died Jan. 1, 1995, in her residence.

She was born in Norfolk. She was the daughter of the late Frank and Evelyn Alexander and was the widow of Wilson R. Johnson. She was a member of St. Paul. United Holy Church of America. Mrs. Johnson was a graduate of Booker T. Washington High School.

Survivors include a daughter, Ann Conley of Virginia Beach; a son, Calvin J. Johnson of Hampton; four sisters, Marion Williams and Evelyn Fulton, both of Norfolk, Elizabeth Robinson of Chesapeake and JoAnn Quinn of Virginia Beach; four brothers, Herbert Alexander of Washington, D.C., Frank Alexander of Riverdale, Md., Harrell Alexander of Waldorf, Md. and Joseph Alexander of Williamstown, N.J.; a grandson, Michael D. Conley of Virginia Beach; a granddaughter, Ecstacy Hankins of Norfolk; two god-daughters, Barbara J. Delotch of Virginia Beach and Dashell Winfield of Chesapeake. Mrs. Johnson also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday in The Way of The Cross COGIC, 2800 Chesapeake Blvd., Norfolk, by Elder Sammie L. Logan. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Gardens. Her remains rest at Hale Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at 2816 Candlewood Circle, Sunrise Hills.
