On Jan. 20, Dana Ray Edmonds of Danville will likely become the
first person to be executed at the new Virginia death chamber,
above, at the Greensville Correctional Center in Jarratt, Va. During
the last regular session of the General Assembly, lawmakers gave
condemned inmates a choice between the electric chair and
injection.
