U.S. PRISONERS HAVE TOO MANY RIGHTS

Regarding ``Frivolous suits filed by prisoner clog legal system'' (news, Dec. 28): Only in America can convicted felons get three meals per day, a bed to sleep in, free medical treatment, television, cigarettes, etc. And only in America are convicted felons allowed to clog the legal system because not enough raisins are in the rice pudding.

This is ludicrous. Convicted felons lose their right to vote, so why are they allowed to waste taxpayers' money with these ridiculous lawsuits? I am tired of hearing prisoners whine about the conditions, treatment, food, etc., in prison. They should be counting their lucky stars that they don't live in a country where they would be executed for the heinous crimes they commit. America has to stop catering to the murderers, rapists, child molesters and vandals of this country and start catering to their victims.

Child molesters, rapists and murderers should not have the right to continue to live, let alone the right to ask for more raisins in their rice pudding. Give me a break!
