Harlan L. Duckworth, 67, of the 2800 block of Early St., a retired Navy chief petty officer, died Jan. 2, 1995, in Portsmouth Naval Hospital.
He was born in Parkersburg, W.Va., and was a Methodist. He was a veteran of World War II and the Korean War and retired after 22 years. He was a member of Fleet Reserve Branch (NU)60.
Survivors include his wife, Isabelle I. Duckworth; two daughters, Lisa M. Bowers of Virginia Beach and Anna Kim Casey of Norfolk; two sons, Mark Duckworth of Norfolk and Robert Duckworth of Maynard, Calif.; a sister, Laura Custer of Stark, Fla.; a brother, Robert Leon Duckworth of Marietta, Ga.; two grandchildren, Abigail Casey and Sarah Casey.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday in Smith & Williams Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel, by Chaplain Kingwood. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Lung associations.
