Ernestine Conner Gillespie, 86, of the 300 block of Thelmar Lane, a retired LPN, died Jan. 3, 1995 in a Portsmouth hospital.
She was born in Lexington, Va.,and was the widow of Clinton ``Jack'' Gillespie. She was a member of West End United Methodist Church.
Survivors include five grandchildren, Jodi McGray, Deborah Cossey, Joseph Hoal, Robert Hoal and Michael Hoal; five great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens by the Rev. Thomas Betts. Visitation will be from 6 to 7 p.m. today at 314 Thelmar Lane, Portsmouth. Loving Funeral Home, Churchland, is handling arrangements.
