WALTER WILKINSON WORLD-TRAVELING MURAL ARTIST AND OWNER OF WALL MURALS

Walter ``Chip'' William Wilkinson II doesn't use a painter's canvas to record his artistic abilities because there aren't any big enough for his talents.

Instead, he uses canvas of a different sort - walls - to showcase the art form he has cultivated for the past 20 years.

He's no starving artist, though. Wilkinson is the owner of Wall Murals, a company that specializes in - you guessed it - decorative wall murals.

He's been commissioned to do murals all over the United States, Scotland and England.

Locally, one of Wilkinson's murals is seen by thousands each week. He painted the mural in the touch tank of the Chesapeake Bay Aquarium in the Virginia Marine Science Museum.
