A 49-year-old Chesapeake man was found stabbed to death Wednesday morning in a Norfolk home, police said.
Ernest R. Walker, of the 2100 block of Shop St., was found stabbed and unconscious on the stairs between the second and third floors of the home in the 1000 block of West 37th St.
He was pronounced dead a short time later.
Police spokesman Larry Hill said police received an anonymous call about the stabbing at 3:45 a.m. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Line at 441-5100.
