Rogelio Bernardo Reyes, 53, of the 400 block of Grenfell Ave., a machinist, died Jan. 4, 1995, in Norfolk.
Mr. Reyes was born in Cavite, the Philippines. He was employed with Norshipco and was a member of St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church, Virginia Beach.
Survivors include his wife, Adelaida Reyes; a daughter, Ivy Reyes of Virginia Beach; four sons, Ariel Reyes, stationed in California, Roger Reyes, Edwin Reyes and Lowie Reyes, all of Virginia Beach; three sisters, Beatrice Efe, Werlina Quindara and Angelina Mercurio, all of the Philippines; three brothers, Jose Reyes and Marino Reyes, both of the Philippines, and Apolinario Reyes of Virginia Beach.
A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday in St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church by Father Paschal Kneip. Burial will be in Colonial Grove Memorial Park. A Christian wake service will be held at 7 p.m. today in Smith & Williams Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel, where visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. today. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church.
