A woman was arrested early Friday and charged with murdering 49-year-old Ernest R. Walker of Chesapeake.
Nuyea Dean, 33, was arrested at 1 a.m. at a 7-Eleven in the 2600 block of Monticello Ave. after police received a call that she was there. The caller, said police spokesman Larry Hill, recognized Dean's picture from news reports.
Dean was arrested without incident, Hill said. She is accused of stabbing Walker to death in a Norfolk home Wednesday morning.
